Chinese News, being published since 1993, is a semi-weekly Chinese newspaper that serves the Chinese community in and around Metropolitan Toronto area. The newspaper is delivered every Wednesday and Friday to the Chinese-speaking community with a population of over 500,000 living in Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, Brampton, Mississauga, and Hamilton , Kitchener as well.
According to Immigration Canada, the new Chinese immigrants have been the biggest group among all the ethnic groups since 1998. In order to meet the large demand, we released our web site in March, 2000. It is a full copy of our newspaper and has attracted a lot of visitors since its launch. Besides, we also integrated classified ads, chatting room and readers forum in the website.
