Council for Automotive Human Resources
The Council for Automotive Human Resources (CAHR) is the sector council for the Canadian automotive manufacturing industry, an industry-led organization that works to build industry competitiveness through effective, long-term workforce development strategies. CAHR’s formation in April 2004 was the result of unprecedented consensus from the Canadian Automotive Partnership Council (CAPC) to act collectively to ensure future competitiveness of the Canadian automotive manufacturing industry through the continued development of a highly skilled workforce. As one of 38 Canadian Sector Councils, CAHR is funded through the Government of Canada’s Sector Council Program.
